The Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Pannonia located in Veszprém is a dedicated partner of the VMware IT Academy and the Cisco Networking Academy Program with the goal to provide trainings and educational services for the instructor and student community of the Central and Eastern European region.
From April, 2011 trainings of the VITA program focusing on virtualization technologies, which is a prerequisite for getting VCP certification, are also available within the regular curriculum.
In this academic year more than 50 students have started their VCP studies at the first and only operating VMware IT Academy of Hungary, where courses are available as optional courses both in English and Hungarian. These trainings are in alignment with the unique operational model of the faculty, in which trainings and education, research & development, also project activities are in full harmony strengthening one another. Quality and professionalism are guaranteed by four VCP certified, dedicated instructors with great experience of designing and operating our own lab infrastructure. The goal of our institution is to become a Regional VMware IT Academy soon.

The services of our institution are focused on Central and Eastern Europe, but in no ways are they limited to this particular region.

Packages & Fees
The services provided by our institution are available in two packages.
Basic support
For a 500 EUR (appr. 650 USD) yearly fee we provide the following:
- daily operational support (expected answer in a 48-hour time-frame)
- lab setup, install and troubleshooting support (expected answer in a 72-hour time-frame)
- providing access to additional training and assessment materials (available in Moodle LMS, in partnership with other vITA institutions)
- organizing webinars, events and competitions (for on-site events no registration fee applies for a max. of 2 persons per school)
Extended support
For a 1.000 EUR (appr. 1.300 USD) yearly fee we provide the following:
- daily operational support (expected answer in a 48-hour time-frame)
- lab setup, install and troubleshooting support (expected answer in a 72-hour time-frame)
- providing access to additional training and assessment materials (available in Moodle LMS, in partnership with other vITA institutions)
- organizing webinars, events and competitions (for on-site events no registration fee applies for a max. of 2 persons per school)
- access to 10 physical lab pods for a max. 2 hours per week throughout the school year
- additional pods are available for 100 EUR (130 USD) per year (max. 2 hours per week), max. 15 pods per institution
- special offers are available for additional time blocks
