HI-LED is an EC funded project that represents an advance on the state of the art of Solid State Lighting (SSL). HI-LED project focuses on research of advanced and innovative light engines based on full control of light, always with an important view to industrialisation. The project is conducting research on spectrally tuneable light engines with added intelligence, low-cost and low-consumption exploring LED and OLED control and combination for a 3 different selected applications as: horticulture, museum lighting and human health.
