Mostafa Elgendy’s doctoral department discussion took place on 28th May 2021. The title of his presentation is „Indoor Navigation for People with Visual Impairment”. His supervisor is Dr. Cecília Sik Lányi.

The 35th National Conference in Science for Students took place in April 2021. In IT session nine students from our faculty presented his/her scientific results. Five of our students were awarded.

Some of the elaborated topics:

  • object classification with convolutional neural networks.

  • pose estimation of objects in robotics

  • Prediction of city mass transport delays using artificial intelligence

  • Model Predictive Control and Sizing of Commercially Available Storage-Based Power Plants with Energy Trading Functionality
