On behalf of the faculty we are expressing our sincere congratulations for the students and for the supervisors and we wish them further successes!
Students and some teachers from an Italian, from a Greek, from a Lithuanian and from a Transylvanian secondary school visited our faculty in the framework of „Key to the Future - Collaboration in Robotics for Modern Education” KA2 strategic Erasmus+ programme on 4th April 2019.
The aim of the programme is to explore the importance of robotics for youngsters. Dr. Attila Magyar welcomed the visitors and delivered them a lecture about robotics.

Our colleague, Dr. Ferenc Pintér has been awarded MOL Master- M Award. He has been active in the mathematical talent recruitment for decades. He founded the Pál Erdős Mathematical Student Recruiting Centre, he introduced the International Kangaroo Mathematical Competition in Hungary. His students always perform well at mathematical competitions, they continue their studies at universities. His preciseness is outstanding, he is a decisive personality for his students. He was nominated for this award by his former students who work in high position in the business sphere in the field of software development or they have become academic tutors. His work has been granted by Magyar Köztársaság Arany Érdemkereszt (Republic of Hungary Golden Cross) and by Rátz Tanár Úr Életműdíj (Rátz Lifetime Achievement Award).
Dr. István Vassányi has been awarded Magyar Arany Érdemkereszt (Hungarian Golden Cross) by the president of Hungary for his research.

Dr. Professor Hangos was awarded Magyar Érdemrend Tisztikereszt (Hungarian Medal of Honour) on 12th March hat Várkert Bazár, Budapest. Her internationally recognised research in process modelling, and in diagnostics, has been awarded.
