“Call for applications for the "Study Scholarships for International Students" for the spring semester of the academic year 2024/2025”
The University of Pannonia opens applications/ semester for full-time self-financed international students.
The aim of the application is to provide financial support to continue the studies for students with a weighted grade point average of at least 3.00.
The scholarship will be awarded through a call for applications published by the University of Pannonia for up to 30 international students per semester.
Eligibility:
The scholarship is available for students from the second active semester following enrolment. Scholarship support is available for a maximum of one semester. The same student may submit a new application for the following semester.
Applications may be submitted by international students who:
- are students active at the time of the application,
- have completed the semester preceding the application with a grade point average of at least 3.00 in their study program,
- have completed at least 90% of the total credits required by the model curriculum proportionally with the study time span already covered.
Applicants must also have a bank account number registered in the Neptun system open at a Hungarian financial institution, no debts to the University, and must still be an active student during the semester of the award of the scholarship.
The amount of the scholarship to be awarded:
- BA/BSc students: 110.000.- HUF/semester
- MA/MSC students 185.000.- HUF/ semester
- PhD students: 300.000.- HUF/ semester
The amount of the scholarship awarded varies proportionally with the percentage of the completed semesters, as follows:

The application must be submitted in the Neptun system using the application form designed for this purpose (Scholarships for international students - 2024/2025/2).
Application deadline:
- Autumn semester: 15 October.
- Spring semester: 20 March.
Deadline for the decision on the application:
- Autumn semester: 15 November.
- Spring semester: 15 April.
Applications will be assessed by a committee consisting of the Deputy Dean of Education and the Director of Education, the Foundation's Chief Operating Officer or, in his/her absence, any Trustee.
There will be no possibility of submitting a reserve application. The Committee will rank applications that meet the eligibility criteria on the basis of the average academic average and the number of credits obtained. In the case of a tie, the final ranking of the applicant will be based on the number of credits obtained.
Deadline for notifying applicants of the decision:
- 30 November in the autumn semester.
- 30 April in the spring semester.
The scholarships awarded will be paid in one lump sum at the latest:
- 31 December in the autumn semester.
- 31 May in the spring semester.
