The Faculty of Information Technology will hold its Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, 4 September 2024, at 14:00 in the Lobby of Building B, where we welcome all first-year students.
We would like to share the following important information:
The Opening Ceremony is the ceremonial form of becoming a university citizen, during which our first-year students take the oath. This year, for the first time, we are holding a combined opening ceremony, so that students from the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Computer Engineering can take the oath at the same event.
The event will be streamed online on the Faculty of Information Technology's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pemikveszprem), so that family members and relatives can follow the ceremony live. The live stream will also be posted on the Faculty's YouTube channel after the ceremony.
Students are kindly requested to wear appropriate attire (men: suit or shirt and dark trousers, closed shoes appropriate to the occasion; women: blouse, dark skirt, dress or suit, closed shoes appropriate to the occasion). Thank you!
During the ceremony, the Rector and the Dean will welcome the first-year students with a handshake.
Students are kindly requested to take their seats 10 minutes before the start in order to ensure a smooth ceremony.
