Professor Katalin Hangos was awarded József Eötvös wreath award by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences on 3rd November 2023, in Szeged.
The professor received the award at the opening ceremony of the Hungarian Science Festival, in the Gala Hall of the University of Szeged. The József Eötvös wreath award can be awarded to those
· who have MTA doctorate or an equivalent scientific degree
· based on the law they can claim a scientific life work of outstanding importance recognized by the professional public have already turned
· 70 or will turn 70 in the year of handover
The recipient is entitled to use the title "Laureatus Academiae" or "Laureata Academiae".
