On 4th April 2023 the Faculty of Information Technology hosted the "Game ON" event. It is a negotiation simulation game aiming at teaching people about the role of science in international environmental policy.
Students from Hungary, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Namibia, and Indonesia made up the 4 participating teams.
The topic was "Recover uranium from phosphates "
2 teams had to argue for and the other two against just like in politics.
The discussion started with arguing for, then the oppenent's first team had the opportunity to ask questions. Finally a closing speech in which they could no longer ask questions.
Then came the opponent's first team, just like before. Then the second speaker of the first team came and so on.
