create 3026190 640It is a big pleasure for us that on 10th of March, 2020 we have created CoolLaunch youth community from a student volunteers group of the University of Pannonia. That means a brainstorming workshop which supports young people to realize their ideas at social and cultural fields. Our students could be a significant basis of the Veszpém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture Project. This group is open to students from all faculties of the University of Pannonia and even high school students

Amr Abdelhameed Nagy Abdo, one of our PhD students holding Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship participated at the conference titled VISIGRAPP, the 15th International Joint Conference on Computer Vision, Imaging and Computer Graphics Theory and Applications in Valetta (Malta) between 27th and 29th February 2020. He presented his latest research results in image processing, his presentation’s title was „Hidden Markov Models for Pose Estimation”.


One of our Stipendium Hungaricum PhD students, Mohamed Fawzy Issa delivered a lecture to primary school students about the history of Egypt in Irinyi János Primary School, in Balatonfűzfő on the 12th of February 2020.

4The Section of Mathematical and Information Sciences of the Association of Hungarian PhD and DLA Students (DOSZ MITO) organised its annual winter school at the University of Pannonia, in the beautiful city of Veszprém from 24th to 26th January, 2020.

The co-organiser and the sponsor of the event was the Faculty of Information Technology of the University of Pannonia.

The goal of the winter schools were to strengthen scientific and professional relationships among PhD students in Hungary
